About VoltGuard

One partner and peace of mind. Keep your energy for your business.

Energy companies have to think about regulation, attacks on their systems and plant continuity all at once. That drains resources and attention you would rather spend on producing and distributing energy.

VoltGuard takes on the whole of security. From regulatory compliance, through technical protection of the plant, to monitoring that never sleeps.

An obligation, not a choice

NIS2 is in force in Croatia through the Cybersecurity Act. Energy-sector inspections have begun, and fines reach up to €10 million or 2% of global turnover. Through aggregators and offtakers, the obligations flow down to smaller producers too.

Service architecture

Three pillars, one engine

Soft and Tech are not separate stories. The same management system flows from paper to plant through a chain of standards, and AI keeps it alive around the clock.

Soft Security Pillar 1

Compliance and organisation

  • ISMS po ISO 27001
  • ISO 27019 for the energy sector
  • NIS2 compliance
  • Policies, procedures, risk register
  • Incident response plan

Tech Security Pillar 2

Protecting systems and plants

  • SOC and SIEM monitoring
  • Penetration testing
  • Code security
  • SCADA and OT to IEC 62443
  • Segmentation and secure access
AI and automation · the 24/7 engineProactive monitoring, anomaly detection, automated analysis and compliance evidence
Standards chain · from the office to the plant

Services

The complete service, from gap analysis to monitoring

01

Soft Security

Compliance and organisational security

VoltGuard runs the full consultancy for every certification and regulation you need, from the initial assessment and gap analysis to certification itself. You don't need to know the regulations. That's our job.

Soft Security is the foundation. It sets who is responsible for what, which policies and procedures apply, how risk is measured and how incidents are handled. It is the documentation the regulator asks for and the base every technical measure stands on.

What Europe requires

  • NIS2, in force in Croatia through the Cybersecurity Act
  • ISO 27001, information security management system (ISMS)
  • ISO 27019, energy-specific controls
  • NCCS, the network code on cybersecurity for electricity
  • CER and GDPR as additional layers

What we deliver

  • Consultancy and gap analysis against NIS2 and NCCS
  • ISMS implementation to ISO 27001 and 27019
  • Policies, procedures and risk register
  • Statement of Applicability (SoA)
  • Incident response plan with 24 and 72-hour reporting
  • Guidance through certification

Provable compliance, with no fear of inspections or fines of up to €10 million.

02

Tech Security

Technical protection of systems and plants

Tech Security puts security into practice and proves the measures work. In energy that means special care for the plant, because OT is not office IT. Availability and safety come first, alongside legacy systems and patching constraints. We work to IEC 62443 (zones and conduits, security levels) and IEC 62351 for communications.

Four areas

  • Cybersecurity and monitoring: SOC, SIEM, IDS and IPS
  • Penetration testing, with OT in a lab or maintenance window
  • Code security, OWASP and secure development
  • SCADA and OT protection, segmentation and secure access

What we deliver

  • OT and IT assessment, zones and conduits map
  • IT/OT segmentation, MFA and RBAC
  • Antivirus rollout, firewalls and secure remote access
  • SOC and SIEM monitoring setup
  • Penetration tests and reports
  • Vulnerability management and incident response for the plant

An attack on energy doesn't just take down data, it takes down the plant. We protect both.

03

AI and automation

The engine that keeps everything running 24/7

A small producer cannot pay for round-the-clock human monitoring. AI monitors non-stop and filters out the noise, and a human steps in only when needed. Full security becomes a subscription anyone can afford, instead of a big project for the few.

On the technical side

  • AI monitoring with anomaly detection across IT and OT
  • Automated alert triage
  • Automated first response to incidents
  • Vulnerability prioritisation by real risk

On the compliance side

  • Continuous compliance monitoring
  • Automated collection of audit evidence
  • Help drafting policies and the risk register
  • Incident reports prepared within the deadlines

Anomaly detection catches both attacks and faults, so it protects production and revenue as well as security.

Who it's for

For small and mid-sized energy producers

You are growing fast, you usually have no security team of your own, and an incident switches off your revenue. Full security, scaled to you.

Wind

Wind farm operators and owners, including parks run as separate companies.

Solar

Small and mid-sized solar plants and commercial solar.

Biogas and biomass

Farm and agricultural plants connected to the distribution grid.

Small hydro

Small producers with OT and SCADA environments on the distribution grid.

No security team of your own needed, on a subscription.

Why VoltGuard

Energy, security and automation in one place

Traditional security firms don't understand plants or energy regulation. Energy consultants don't do technical security. We see the whole picture.

01

One partner for everything

Energy know-how, soft and tech security, and an automation platform. No gap between consultant and contractor.

02

Affordable for smaller players

With AI and automation we deliver 24/7 protection on a subscription, instead of an expensive project only large companies can afford.

03

We speak energy

We know plant availability comes first, that OT is not office IT, and that you don't patch in the middle of production.

About us

Three companies and three strengths behind VoltGuard

Energy know-how, security and automation rarely come together. With us they do. To meet that unique need in the market, we joined forces with three leaders, each in their own field.
